Amazon Phishing Scam

Hey folks! There’s apparently a rash of fake Amazon emails going around. The emails appear to be an automatic notification that a recent order has been cancelled. The email contains a link that takes you to a page that looks like Amazon’s and asks you to sign in using your Amazon username and password. It all looks legitimate but instead of signing you into Amazon, your username and password get entered into a database instead. These usernames and passwords are usually sold in batches to the highest bidder in the seedier parts of the internet. Sounds crazy, we know, but it’s true and it’s called “phishing”. If you think you may have been a victim of phishing you should change your password immediately. Be safe out there!

Whew! After a very busy last few months we are excited to announce that we are finally settling into our new location in the beautiful Seaview neighborhood of Edmonds. The new house gives us a larger dedicated office space and workbench area for working on more computer repairs and storing inventory which means you will see even better speed and repair quality!
